How our Message Sending Solution Works
We make IM messaging simple, and getting started with your IM
notifications account is easy. In just a few steps you can be sending
messages to single contacts or to entire groups of contacts. We
have personal accounts that allow you to send messages to single
contacts, business accounts that allow for the creation of groups, and
corporate accounts that get dedicated IM accounts for two way
communication.
Step 1 - Sign Up for an Account
Signing up for
an account is free! With
a free account you can send up to
20 free
text messages per month, to any instant messenger client. At
any time you can add credit to your account. Those credits can be used to
send SMS (cell text message) messages, or to send additional IM messages.
You can also choose one of our affordable subscriptions solutions to add
more messaging capability to your personal account, or to upgrade to a business
or corporate account.
Once you have an account you can
begin sending messages:
In some cases you will want to upgrade your account, to a business or
corporate account, to enable group sending and two way communication.
Step 2 - Create a Group
With a business, or corporate account you can create a group. Creating
a message sending group is as simple as clicking create group, and then
filling out the information.
Step 3 - Let Your Contacts know About the Group
With your group created you can begin getting people to join that messaging group.
Our system makes this simple. Simply send your contact an email, IM, or
text message with the join link. You can also add this link to your web
site, or make signup automatic with your own sign-up form. Whenever
you create a group the join link looks like:
http://notify.im/businessname/groupname/
When one of your contacts clicks the link they will be asked to choose
their messaging client, and provide the ID for that client:
Step 4 - Message all of your Clients at Once
With your group in place, and your clients joining you can now message all of
your clients at once. Sending messages to the group can be accomplished
with our web messenger interface (shown below), or by using out http messaging
api with your web site or software.
