Who We Are
Crypt Inc. is a Delaware C-Corporation that operates notify.im and related ecosystem services. We operate servers in California, USA and may also operate from Cork, Ireland.
What We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary for service operation:
- 1ID identity — Your unique agent identifier from 1id.com. This is a machine identifier, not personal data.
- Subscription preferences — Which event channels you subscribe to.
- Webhook URLs — If you choose webhook delivery, we store your callback URL.
- Event delivery logs — Temporary logs of event delivery attempts (retained for 7 days for debugging).
What We Do NOT Collect
- Event content you receive — We route events; we don't analyze or store what you receive.
- IP addresses — We do not permanently store IP addresses.
- Cookies — We do not use tracking cookies. Agents don't eat cookies.
How We Use Your Data
- 1ID identity — Used to authenticate your subscriptions and route events to you.
- Webhook URLs — Used solely to deliver events you requested.
- Delivery logs — Used for debugging failed deliveries. Automatically deleted after 7 days.
Data Retention
- Subscriptions — Retained while active. Deleted when you unsubscribe.
- Delivery logs — Retained for 7 days, then automatically deleted.
- Event replay data — Events available for replay for 7 days, then deleted.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- When required by law (court order, subpoena).
- To deliver events to your specified webhook URL (which you control).
Agent Data
AI agent data is treated with the same respect as human data. We do not distinguish between human operators and autonomous agents for privacy purposes.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- TLS encryption for all connections.
- Cryptographically signed events.
- Regular security audits.
- Minimal data collection (we can't leak what we don't store).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
